Vita

Alix Gaul studied mathematics at the University of Münster and at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. She then completed a master’s degree in Science and Technology Studies at the University of Vienna, where her master’s thesis focused on mathematical knowledge production. Since November 2025, she has been pursuing a PhD at the Robert K. Merton Center at Humboldt University of Berlin, researching peer review in mathematics.
