Sheena Fee Bartscherer studierte Social Sciences (B.A.) an der Universität Osnabrück und Sozialwissenschaften (M.A.) an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Als Promotionsstudentin an der Humboldt Universität zu Berlin im Fach Soziologie befasst sie sich seit April 2017 mit der systematischen Analyse von Emotionen in der politischen Medienkommunikation des Westens. In einzelnen Fallstudien (US-Präsidentschaftswahlen 2016, Trendanalyse Emotionen in der britischen Politik 1900 - 2019) setzt sie sich mit der (emotionalisierten) Sprache ausgewählter politischer (Medien-)Debatten auseinander und analysiert sie entsprechend des von ihr weiterentwickelten neopragmatischen Ansatzes, basierend auf der Pragmatischen Soziologie der Kritik (nach Boltanski & Thevenot). Seit Februar 2020 arbeitet Sheena Fee Bartscherer als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrbereich Wissenschaftsforschung.
