Vita

Lise Moawad studied Politics and Public Administration (M.A.) at the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne (Paris I) and the University of Konstanz and German Studies (M.A.) at the Université Paris-Sorbonne (Paris IV). Both her master theses were devoted to the question of federalism - as a state organisational principle or as a historical fact - using the example of German cultural and educational policy. She then worked for two years for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEAE) as a policy officer for language and education cooperation at the French Embassy in Berlin. Since November 2020, Lise Moawad has been working for the project "Diversity and Adaptability of Peer Review" at the Robert K. Merton Centre at HU. She also started working on her PhD in April 2022 on the question of the recent political uses of social science knowledge in France, Germany and the UK.
